Damaschito is a wine of great character and substance. Sourced from 50 to 60-year-old vines at 580 meters elevation on volcanic soils rich in manganese and iron, it stands out for its complex olfactory profile: notes of dark cherry and black fruits merge with hints of umami, graphite, ash, and licorice. On the palate, it is dense, featuring the variety’s typical vigorous tannins, refined by long aging in large Slavonian oak casks. A monumental red built for longevity.
