Unlike Sassicaia, here the structure is more opulent and Mediterranean. On the nose, the impact is intense: ripe small dark fruits (blackberry, plum) dominate, followed by a balsamic hint of eucalyptus and a touch of iodine that recalls proximity to the coast. The oak is well-measured, leaving space for notes of cocoa powder and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is voluminous, broad, with powerful yet velvety tannins that fill the mouth without edges. The finish is savory, almost saline, a distinctive trait of the Argentiera terroir that perfectly balances the vintage's generous alcohol.
