Bollinger PN VZ19 Brut

A Champagne of great purity and tension. The nose plays on white-fleshed fruits, toasted notes, and a marked mineral tone. On the palate, it is powerful, vertical, and of great savory persistence. An interpretation of Pinot Noir that celebrates the terroir of Verzenay with elegance and precision.

Bollinger PN VZ19 Brut

The Bollinger PN VZ19 is the fifth edition of the series dedicated to the purity of Pinot Noir, with a focus on the prestigious terroir of Verzenay. The base vintage 2019, sunny and generous, is here balanced by the chalky rigor and verticality of the reference Cru. On the nose, it is an explosion of character: notes of quince, fresh hazelnut, and apricot mingle with hints of orange blossom and an almost saline minerality. On the palate, it is masterful in tension: the entry is broad and vinous, typical of Bollinger's style, but is immediately extended by a noble, lively acidity. The finish is deep, marked by a chalky sapidity that cleanses the mouth and invites the next sip, with a return of candied citrus and ginger.
