Krug Collection Brut 1995
A monumental Champagne for timeless richness and charisma. The olfactory profile alternates notes of refined pastry with mineral and balsamic hints of extreme sophistication. On the palate, it is dense, savory, and characterized by a masterful balance between the typical wine character of Krug and the tension of the 1995 vintage. A display of style that represents the pinnacle of the Maison's savoir-faire.
Krug Collection Brut 1995
The Krug Collection 1995 is the sublimation of time according to Maison Krug. The "Collection" series represents a limited selection of bottles from the 1995 vintage, kept in ideal conditions in the cellars of Reims, allowed to age on the lees much longer than the original release. The 1995 vintage, marked by a masterful balance between phenolic maturity and vibrant acidity, is reborn here with monumental complexity. On the nose, it is a concert of rare elegance: clear notes of tarte tatin, candied orange peel, and dried figs merge with deep scents of roasted coffee, white truffle, ginger, and a mineral trail reminiscent of wet chalk and sea spray. On the palate, it is sumptuous and three-dimensional;The entrance is broad, dominated by a dense, creamy texture yet supported by an incredibly youthful freshness that extends into a savory, endless finish with an interminable aromatic persistence, characterized by a closing of aristocratic oriental spices.
