Produced in an extremely limited edition from the best parcels of Cabernet Franc in the Ulmo Estate, this wine is a visceral tribute to Diego Planeta. The 2018 vintage, characterized by a cool and windy climate, allowed this international grape variety to express itself with aromatic precision and an almost "Loire-like" freshness, but with the warm heart of Sicily. On the nose, it is a concert of rare elegance: clear notes of small black fruits, Morello cherry, and sweet pepper merge with deep hints of dark chocolate, tobacco, graphite, eucalyptus, and a mineral trail reminiscent of the red volcanic soil.
