Riesling Wiebelsberg Grand Cru 2019, Rémy Gresser

Wiebelsberg is famous for its unique Vosges pink sandstone terroir, which grants the wines a "vertical" structure and superior finesse. Rémy Gresser, a master of biodynamics in Andlau, interprets this Grand Cru with a precise and vibrant style. The 2019 vintage opens with a complex bouquet: notes of lemon zest, grapefruit, and white flowers (jasmine) that evolve toward hints of kerosene and flint. On the palate, it is tense and harmonious, with a citric acidity supporting a very long and deeply saline finish
