Tenuta Masseto Masseto 2002
A monumental Merlot for charisma, opulence, and stylistic rigor. The aromatic profile alternates noble black fruits with spicy and mineral notes of extreme refinement. On the palate, it is dense, savory, and characterized by a masterful balance between the power of the fruit and the verticality of the sip. A stylistic achievement that represents the excellence of the Tuscan Maremma.
Tenuta Masseto Masseto 2002
The 2018 'Messiio' from Tenuta Fertuna is a monumental work, a pure Merlot that challenges Bolgheri tradition with the wild elegance of the Maremma Grossetana. Born from a rigorous selection of the finest grapes and aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels, this wine represents the estate's international soul, expressed with sumptuous stylistic precision. The 2018 vintage was one of great balance, capable of giving Merlot perfect phenolic maturity combined with unexpected balsamic freshness. On the nose, it is a concert of rare elegance: clear notes of ripe berries, plum, and Morello cherry merge with deep aromas of dark chocolate, noble vanilla, sweet tobacco, and a mineral streak reminiscent of graphite and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is powerful, enveloping, and structured;
