A stylistic achievement that represents the pinnacle of historical revival.
Vermuth di Torino Rosso, Antica Torino
The Vermouth di Torino Rosso by Antica Torino is a monumental creation, a return to the most authentic and rigorous roots of Piedmontese tradition. Born from the passion of Vittorio Zoppi and Filippo Antonelli, this vermouth does not seek shortcuts: the high-quality wine base is enriched with a complex architectural blend of botanicals, including prominent notes of Piedmontese wormwood, rhubarb, gentian, and vanilla, all harmonized with burnt sugar that gives it a sumptuous color without the use of artificial caramel. On the nose, it is a concert of rare elegance: clear notes of medicinal herbs, bitter orange peel, and cinnamon merge with deep hints of quinine, tobacco, raisins, and a mineral trace reminiscent of licorice root and the undergrowth. On the palate, it is powerful, sumptuous, and enveloping; the entry is broad, dominated by a dense body, with an aristocratic balsamic freshness that carries the sip towards a savory, endless, and masterfully bitter finish.
